Terms
Terms of use
Last updated October 15, 2026
Agreement
By using societyforperceptionstudies.org you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who can take part
Anyone can read. You must be at least 13 to create an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep access to your email secure, since that is how you sign in.
How to take part
The Commons and the discussions are for considered conversation. Do not post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful or threatening; do not impersonate anyone, share someone’s private information, or post spam or advertising.
We may remove content, or suspend or close an account, when these terms are broken.
What you post
What you write stays yours. By posting it, you give the Society permission to host and display it on the site, worldwide and without payment, for as long as it remains up. Deleting a comment or your account ends that permission, except for copies already held in backups.
Work you send us
Sending work for consideration does not mean it will be published. You confirm that the work is yours to send. If we would like to publish it, we will agree the terms with you first.
Our work
The conversations, writing, illustrations and design on this site belong to the Society or to the people who made them. You are welcome to read, watch and share links. Republishing or using them commercially needs our permission.
Other sites
The site links to and embeds other services, such as YouTube, Substack and booksellers. We are not responsible for their content or policies.
No guarantees
The site is offered as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available but cannot promise it will always be either. To the extent the law allows, the Society is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site.
Ending
You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time from your profile page.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will appear here with a new date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
